It's Friday, and I know in the MOG world that means funky. I don't know if I am quite there, other then I have been in a funk all day. A bad case of the blahs. The day started out swell, with my huge pint of tea with milk, and then it just started to go down hill after. Not quite sure when the wheels came off. I really enjoy the intelligent lyrics and fun the BNLs have. I have gone to their concerts during the last, well 10, years. Back then you could see them in a venue with 200 other screaming and laughing fans. Much of their energy is captured in their live concerts and over the years I have picked up a few of their songs that they perform live but have chosen not to produce on CD. I've included one of these favorite bootlegs here, although a cover, the original is just as rare.... MORE

I'm a BNL fan and also a fan of some rap and hip-hop artists and this is one of the best covers I've ever heard. The different style from Snoop Dogg's version of the song is probably jarring to listeners who are more into hip-hop, but if you can get past that hurdle, this is an amazing rendition. The guys just seem to get into a groove on this tune. If I think of one thing when I listen to this song, I think of how much fun the are having with it. This is true of a lot of BNL... MORE
