Babyshambles ‘ Adam Ficek has mapped out a solo UK jaunt. Ficek solo project, Roses, Kings, Castles , will be touring the UK early next year. Kicking off January 5, the tour will see Roses, Kings, Castles play several major cities including Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Ficek is touring in support of his recently released self-titled solo album.

Pete Doherty has announced a series of solo shows set for later next month.
The Babyshambles ‘ frontman is scheduled for three dates at the Whitechapel Rhythm Factory in London on December 20, 21 and 22.

A new Babyshambles demo, written during the band's recent tour is now streaming on the the MySpace page of Babyshambles drummer Adam Ficek's side project: Roses, Kings, Castles. The track is called "Pretty Sue."

Pete Doherty might look like a Dickensian poorhouse pauper, but his rich musical gift has not deserted him. Babyshambles' new song _Delivery_ is a blissful garage-pop record. Just as everyone expected, right? Okay, maybe not. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but inmates at the Wormwood Scubs prison, where Pete Doherty is serving a 14 week sentence, were planning an attack on the Babyshambles singer. After hearing about the plot and asking to be moved to a safer part of the prison, Doherty was apparently strip-searched by four prison guards, wearing latex gloves, who were looking for drugs (Ya-ouch!). A Scottish artist has drawn images of Pete Doherty in which the Babyshambles singer is depicted as dead. The six paintings feature in a Glasgow exhibition by Peter Howson. Howson, who has battled drug and alcohol addiction, said the pictures were intended to act as a warning against drugs. Babyshambles ‘ frontman Pete Doherty has entered the studio with Blur guitarists Graham Coxon to collaborate on the frontman’s forthcoming new solo album. The collaboration was pretty much confirmed by Babyshambles ‘ drummer Adam Ficek who told XFM that although he was not allowed to give any details about the forthcoming album, he can say that Doherty is working on the album with a guitarist whose name rhymes with "Layham Hoxon".

Babyshambler Pete Doherty started a 14-week jail sentence today, a sentence which will force him to miss the annual benefit concert, Love Music Hate Racism and possibly Glastonbury as well. The charity event takes place on April 27th, the day after Doherty was scheduled to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. Babyshambles have announced the US release date of their forthcoming sophomore album Shotter's Nation (Parlophone). The album will be release in the US on October 23 via Astralwerks. The album is the follow-up to 2005's Down In Albion. Shotter's Nation features the single Delivery, which has been parlayed into a video (below).
