I've no reason to post this up here other than I was thinking about this song and good times from the past. KROQ used to play this stuff in the 80's, not Metallica. When I hear Metallica on their top whatever countdowns, i just get mad that they are rewriting their history. Unlike some people, I'm not about to pretend that I didn't listen to horrible music for parts of the 1980's.

I first heard Aztec Camera when I was going to community "college" in fall 1983 (they call it community college because everyone in the community can go there, even f*ck ups like me). I was listening to a lot of harder new wave and rock music at the time, so it took me a little bit to warm up to their sound.
