The Authority Zero concert last night was pretty f’ing great. (Hell, even my husband liked it and he is notoriously hard to please.) We missed the first two bands that played, which turned out to be a local band that wasn’t listed on the line-up and Patent Pending. But, we got inside in time to see Tokyo Rose. Everything sounds better live I think, so they weren’t bad. I hit the merch t
Haha, the first thought that flitted across your mind was the right one. I woke up Saturday morning to this message on my phone “Hey Ashley, it’s Ryan. Authority Zero is playing at Jaxx tomorrow night and since I know you’re retarded about driving long distances to see them – I thought I’d let you know.” Yep. Haha…So, in a moment of inspiration I checked to see if they were playi
I’ve also been neglecting my duty to tell y’all about the new Authority Zero album that came out a few months ago – 12:34.12:34 is a little different than their other two albums. I’d say it has a little less of a punk feel and just a tad more rock to it. They still have a few ska influenced songs (influenced to me: the rhythm but no horns), but they aren’t the highlights of the album.
So I'm sneaking in some mog time to check out the new features and get acclimated. First stop AZ artist lounge of course. I'm loving it. The artist lounges are guaranteed to become one of the favorite tools of all the EMCDs. But guess what I just found out - there is a mogger that listens to AZ more than I do. This Saturday, I am seeing my favorite band for the third time. I decided that I'd post a video each night until concert day, in an effort to get y'all to love them as much as I do.I found Authority Zero by accident a few years ago at work because I had launch.com playing in the background. It played "One More Minute" and I liked the music and Jason DeVore's voice immediately. Enough that I ...

Go to the SkyDevote your lifeDon't you want to believe?Go! Go to the SkyDevote your lifeNo boundaries
I have been more negative lately than I normally am. So to bring a little balance, this post is about songs that make me smile and feel good. Indigo Girls – Closer to FineTo me this is a song of acceptance or easy resignation and redemption. It feels good. Even sitting here in a hotel room I feel listening to it – I feel as good as I would driving on a perfect day. It’s rejuvenating.Sma
The lazy thing may be debatable, but I definitely need help. I just got back from vacation and sat in airports for a few hours today listening to my staples... I decided that I need to increase the speed at which my collection of music grows. Not just my general collection, but the stuff that energizes me. See Find Your Way - Authority Zero, see World's On Heroin - All, see Laura - Flogging Mol...
