Don't know about you fellow MOGers, but I'm fed up with the exams period..and I've not even started. Management, Private n Public Right (?), Accountancy, Economical Mathematics blahblaaah are waiting just for me to be read.

Confound those movie trailers. They attempt to pack 90 minutes' worth of poignancy into 2 minutes of "you gotta see this movie!!!" immediacy. Once in a great while and with the right song, they nail it. And to someone with a soft spot for music coupled with cinema, it's the emotional equivalent of a shot of Bacardi 151. So yes, I admit to getting a few goosebumps when Athlete's "Chances" was used on the trailer to the presumably hackneyed romantic feature A Good Year... MORE

I took a look at this photo on the internet today and I had to laugh. Being a computer technician, I could see this happening. I couldn't resist posting this song by Athlete as it is probably my favorite and it reminded me of this song when I saw the picture.

This is the first single from a great band, Athlete. From The new record "Beyond The Neighbourhood" this track is called "Hurricane"

Their third album 'Beyond The Neighbourhood' is out 3rd Sept. I quite like these guys, so I'm looking forward to hearing the album.
Here's a taster though. Their video to Hurricane - the first single to be released off 'Beyond the Neighbourhood'
Half Light - Probably one of my favourite songs off 'Tourist'.
