My beloved Art Brut, DO NOT i repeat DO NOT tour with the hold steady!!!! I know that I am supposed to like the hold steady but I loath them so much I can feel my skin crawl in fact I really don't recognize them as a real band (no capital letters) they are really more of a bad Bruce cover band. Art Brut I strongly recomend that you drop out of the tour now and have your own headlining tour, remember all the fun we had at Starlight Ballroom a year ago with Spinto Ban... MORE

I just downloaded this new Art Brut single. I like this band a lot, because they don't seem to take themselves real seriously, but can still hold onto a basic joy in music. They're a really good band, and I'm looking forward to another full album. This single is less raw than those on their debut album, but the attitude is still there I think.

...is the title of a new song by Art Brut that's been up on MySpace for a couple of weeks. Out as a single on 13 November 2006 in UK. It's nothing new really. Lyrically it's another funny rant. But it's got a wailing guitar riff in the intro and verse which is majestically catchy and yet simple enough that you can try it at home. After many listens, I still love it.
