Two nights ago Architecture In Helsinki came to Santa Cruz. They played at a teeny tiny venue called the Rio, which is more of a movie theater than anything else, but despite the awkward arrangement I found them to be much more entertaining in concert than on any CD. Finaly some news I'm actually excited about!Architecture In Helsinki have just anounced that their 3rd LP, 'Places Like This', will be released in Late July/ Early August. For those of you who don't know, this is pretty much the best thing ever because Architecture In Helsinki are awesome!

According to Polyvinyl Record's website, Architechture in Helsinki has just signed on with them for all the band's North American distro : Aussie sextet Architecture in Helsinki has joined the Polyvinyl family!
