Was there always a ghost on the rise,before I fall asleep? I went to a mexican restaurant last night, across from a strange, run-down ratty gutter punk apartment complex. I think it made me sick. My brain is infested with something I can't think. OR perhaps I'm thinking about the wrong things.

Hey, guys! I've read some info on this singer, Antony Hegarty and listened to his songs but can't agree with the epithets he is given. Do you really mean he has an otherworldly voice? The best vocal of the 21st century? Angel's singing? Sorry to disappoint you but you seem to be very ignorant. The TRULY UNIQUE voice of the 21st century belongs to another singer named Vitas. And what is more amazing... his appearance is as beautiful as his voice.:) He is the one who deserve... MORE

Let me join in on this great day of covers. I love Antony and the Johnsons.....and I love Leonard Cohen. A perfect match.......
The first time I heard If It Be Your Will was in the movie Pump Up The Volume. I remember someone posting about that movie some months ago. A great soundtrack but that song was missing.

Antony and the Johnsons are one of those polarizing bands. They are loved...or hated. And I understand arguments for both...its not for everyone. I for one fall on the LOVE side...but I am curious to see what MOG nation thinks....and please, be honest! You won't offend me in the least if you don't dig the sound...

It isn't too often that a song/band effects you to the point of drawing tears from your eyes. I am very thankful for Antony & The Johnsons and the wonderful music they create. AGHH, I swear whenever I hear his(her) voice I get shivers all over. I was fortunate enough to catch them live while I was in San Diego. Can anyone tell me about this artist and his current gender status? I just heard his album yesterday for the first time. Very beautiful and haunting cabaret music, with a guest vocal by Rufus Wainright. I could find on All Music Guide is that he's a man who looks like Meg White of the White Stripes, sounds like Nina Simone, and worshipped Boy George as a kid. The lyrics and song titles such as "Today I Am a boy" and "My Lady Story" and "I Am a Bird Now" (think about it)... MORE
