Strangely enough, after the final results of the 2008 U.S. general election were revealed, one of my first thoughts was 'huh, wonder what Anti-Flag will write about now that Bush is gone.'Of course, I realize there's still plenty for these punk rockers to vent about, ranging from the economy to the religious right and it's not like the war in Iraq/Afghanistan is over. So really, not that much c...

Photo credit: Imelda MichalczykPittsburgh's Anti-Flag have always had an anarchist streak, and now it's showing up again - they've hastily planned a September 24 show at Club Zoo, sarcastically dubbed the "G-20 Welcoming Party."The G-20, a summit of world leaders, will be taking place in Pittsburgh on September 24-25 at the David Lawrence Convention Center. They are about to unleash their 10th studio album The People Or the Gun (out June 9th).The band have never been ones to shy away from social and political commentary. That certainly doesn't change on the new record. Of course, with every band's favorite (many would argue easy) target George W. Bush gone, the mess

Though we're excited to see local rockers Anti-Flag back on the bill, this year's Warped lineup is mediocre at best, so you might as well snag that local performance slot and see if you can liven things up.
