Blog post image preview I really got into Ani DiFranco a few years ago. I made it up to the Out of Range album before the obsession stopped. I fell away from ani the way some people fell away from Dylan after he went electric: for me, the newer records don't have that simple, tuneful authenticity of her first few albums. (I'm sure ani would hate to hear this, as will likely the army of ani fans.) I've always had issues with her insistence of using her voice to do that weird modulation thing... MORE
