This afternoon the sun was shining and the streets were dry, already nearly like summer.GooGooMuc made a post about Funky Porcini this afternoon with a wonderful dreamy track, that was already reminding me a lot of Angelo Badalamenti.Now it's snowing as if there would be no tomorrow. I don't know a snow song, but "Into The Night" reminds a lot of the ghostly atmosphere, that snow can produce. When it takes away all sounds like a very good accoustic insulation. If you live ... Been rediscovering my soundtracks, and must highly reccomend this man's work. He has composed the music for most of (if not all of) David Lynch's films and serials. He also wrote 'Falling' for Julee Cruise, which is the theme tune to Twin Peaks. My personal favourite is his work on Mulholland Drive, which he composed with Lynch.

I love all of Angelo Badalamenti's score music that I've heard, but in particular I'm in love with his work on the "Twin Peaks" television series and the film "Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me."

that's right, i'm single and bitter on Valentine's Day yet again. to commemorate my mood on this farce of a sham of a holiday, here's the saddest love theme from the saddest love story i know, Mulholland Drive:
