So, I went to Warped Tour yesterday for the very first time and that's a little surprising coming from me seeing as how I try to go to those types of events whenever I can. I went with my girl, Alisa, and our friend, Amanda. I went in with zero expectations and I was really impressed with all that I experienced. The only thing(s) that were disappointing were... 1. ...that there was no schedule for each show so you had to go around the whole Warped Tour site and find times... MORE
It's Nate. Your local Anberlin drummer. I'm just hanging out and the sweet hour of 1:50AM in my room, listening to an awesome band called Lakes, in beautiful Tampa, Florida. We're officially home! It's great to be back. We all had an amazing time on Warped tour this year!! Thanks SO much to everyone that came out and supported, watched, sweated with us. It meant so much! We made a lot of good friends and look back with some incredible memories and good times. So, as you a... MORE

Sounds cheesy but when you're young and in love, that line will surely tame your soul and make you drop on your knees. I first heard Anberlin's song "Inevitable" from my online pal in Tabulas. He has it playing on loop in his blog hahaha! I thought the song is really nice. It's not the first time I've heard the name "Anberlin" but it was the first time I've heard their music. So I'll check their album out and I'm already guessing that that won't be my last first soundtrip ... MORE
cause I heard it and I liked it

you would think that working in a store that mainly deals in music, an audiophile such as myself would have no problem spending all my hard-earned cash. this is not always true! sometimes I just don't know what I feel like and therefore spend my money on other things (gasp!) such as rent and groceries and maybe a good pair of shoes. but really usually scarves and wallets. so anyway, I decided to combat this problem by going through my store alphabetically and buying on... I've always loved Anberlin, so it comes to no surprise that I was SUPER pumped for their new album, Cities, to come out. Suffice to say it is the most amazing album they have put out thus far. I can't explain it, but if you follow their progression from Blueprints for the Black Market to Never Take Friendship Personal to Cities, you'll see tremendous growth in their work, both musically and lyrically. This album is definitely the most mature and I haven't felt so moved

One of my favorite bands, Anberlin, released their sophomore LP today, titled "Cities." I can't wait to get out of work so I can pick this up and listen to it on the way home. Has anybody else heard it yet? I've read great reviews of it, so I'm pretty excited!
Okay it's break and my moms intent on getting me up early as fucking ever. SIGH fucking SIGH...anyway while I was watching Nightline (I think) ABC or whichever channel it was had to go and interrupt my programming damnit to tell me that Gerald Ford died. Its sad this year we've seemed to have lost a good handful of people...lemme see if I can list the ones that come to mind (or rather those that I've seen on tv :-/ I know bad girl bad girl): Ed BradleyGerald FordJames Br...
