I'm leaving early tomorrow morning out of LA to fly to my folks' for Christmas, in bfe New Mexico (right on the Texas border). turns out grandma is really sick, so the hubby and I decided I should make a bonzaii trip home to be with grandma for the holiday (especially since it's the first holiday without grandpa). I love the drum pattern on this song; it's one of the most original things that I've heard in a long time. It borders on prog-rock but it doesn't distract the the non-music nerds. And the guitar parts are also intricate without being showy. Musical perfection.
