The music of this Portland, Oregon quartet is surprisingly difficult describe. While there's an earthy, near-Americana quality to many of their songs, it's often fleshed out in quiet vocals and the lingering tempos of contemporary vocalists like Norah Jones. There are old-timey American and European sounds woven throughout, but they're rendered in relief of the shadowy, modernistic productions rather than nostalgia. After a brief hiatus (our apologies!), we are back! This is a favorite because of it's acoustic-y feel that is followed by piercing electric. Hope you enjoy the file footage yet again ;)
Ah, bass clarinet. This is the last track on the new album and it's one that we think sums up the CD and maybe life of the human race in general. Too much? Maybe.

Teisha and Scott met in 2002 and began playing duo gigs and recording songs on a 4-track. When they had enough material together they got Scott's former Flatirons' bandmates Jesse Emerson (upright bass) and Richard Cuellar (drums) to play shows and record their first record, "Somewhere Left to Fall..."
