Now I'm no reviewer by any means but I happened to catch Apostle of Hustle and Alla at Schubas last night (6.28) and figured I'd threw up a few words about the show...
Alla opened and played a good near-hour or so. I hadn't heard much if anything of them before (even though they're a local Chicago band) but they were fantastic with a great blend of latin pop with just enough oddball to make it unpredictable. Check them out if you get the chance...I can see why the above
