An opportunity to see Al Green was offered and a free concert in the sea side park at Coney Island and I accepted and it was a blast. Being 46 I grew up with Al Green and know his 70s hits and had them as part of the soundtrack of my life then. His falsetto was both vulnerable and sexy, and those photos of him from '72, skinny and shirtless, well, um, I was into Al. But that same falsetto made me worry about the concert.
