So when Ace got up this morning, on this, his 56th birthday, do you think he drew a deep breath and said, "Ahhhh, so gooood to be alive"? Or do you think he pulled the covers over his head, cowered in the darkness, and cursing the gods who lurk in the shadows cried out, "Why? No! Please take me - just make it fast and painless!"? ACE = GOD Not much more to say really.Frehley has been the inspiration for countless young guitarists the world over - and I was one of them.I graduated from a tennis racquet in front of a mirror at age 5 to my first guitar at 16 & I have been a whore to it ever since. 17+ years of playing, writing & recording later & I am still as enamored with every Frehley-fretted note as I was some 30 years ago.

"Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated" - Ace Frehley
Contrary to recent reports Mr. Frehley is alive and well and working on his solo CD "I don’t know how this ridiculous rumor got started" said the confirmed health enthusiast. It was reported on various websites and wire services that the guitarist had committed suicide. I hope I never have to deny false reports of my death.
