All this banter between me and a few other moggers about the prevalence of Metal over the years and different Tags has LED me to believe that I only categorize music by Rock, Metal, Rap, Country, or OTHER->

I traded iPods with a guy at work and we shared some CDs, and among the crazy 70s pop collection (including the song to the Rockford Files!), was AC/DC's Back in Black. Got me thinking about unlikely love songs, as my wife and I grooved to You Shook Me All Night Long"
But then I found this and was horrified:
heaven help us all.
1) Unapologetic. They don't write anthems. Their lyrics are not deep social commentaries. Nearly every song is pure head-stomping rock & roll with thinly-veiled double entendres for lyrics. Long overdue but I've started the vinyl to mp3 to Ipod process. First up is AC/DC and it's been a long time since I listened to these guys, but oh yeah they still have what it takes after all these years. Come to think of it Australia has a fine tradition with guitar bands including Cosmic Psychos, The Chosen Few and several others that appeared on the Killed By Death influenced compilation (was it Bloodstains Across Australia?) a few years ago.
