I can’t remember things sometimes. Like if there is an "r" in the word surprise between the "u" and the "p" or what nights of the week are garbage nights. I would think that this form of "not remembering" would fall in the category of short term memory loss, but considering that I haven’t been able to chisel these tiny rules of thumb into my brain for years -- and it seems I never will -- I think they fall into the long term memory loss category by now. However, ABBA g... MORE

It must be nice to have money. Because evidently when you do, you don't understand people who don't. You think things like, "I know my employees are supposed to be paid on Friday, but I think this time we'll change it and make them wait till Monday. AND let's not tell them, so they'll have a nice little surprise when they check their bank balance on Friday and see that it still says zero." Because it never occurs to this person she might be completely fucking some of u... MORE
Was hanging out yesterday evening with a couple of cool friends down in Brighton. Did not realise 'till we got down there that it was the Pride March, pity we missed it, but the place was still packed and took us 1/2 an hour to find a parking space down in the Kemptown end. Still, had a great evening sitting outside the 'Volks', talking about music and enjoying the gathering of such diverse culture's from all over the country/planet. Brought a tear to my eye. Good to s... MORE
The CD turned 25 today! On this day 25 years ago, it was Abba's new album The Visitors that made music history by becoming the first album published on this new compact format. It was the smallest album available at the time... It marked a revolutionary time in the music industry. In addition to the scheming CEOs with dollar signs in their eyes and futures, pirates and thieves also quickly figured out the benefits of such a pocketable disc! My how things have chang... MORE
I don't have many songs in my playlist. That's because I tend to delete all the music off my computer at the beginning of a new year and add songs as I go. But I don't just put in any songs. I put in the songs which I get stuck in my head. In hope that once I play the songs enough. They'll all go. So far I have: *Dancing Queen*Take A Chance On Me - Abba*Dude Looks Like A Lady - Aerosmith*I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor*Just A Little Bit - Liberty X See not very long at ... MORE
Never a huge fan of ABBA - its hard to deny their harmony. And I do love harmony. This one called ABBA around the piano - I'd never heard it or seen it - but its circa 1980. Its said to be played every New Years Eve in Sweden. I'm adding it to my arsenal.
