In last minuted news, A.C. Newman is set to release a live album. Beginning tomorrow (July 8th), Live In Montreal will be available exclusively through iTunes.Oddly, the Matador website states that the show was recorded March 12th at Lee's Palace. A.C. Newman, head New Pornographer and creator of the fantastic solo album The Slow Wonder, has got a release date and album cover for his new album Get Guilty. The sure-to-be-amazing album comes out January 20th on Matador and will feature Nicole Atkins and Mates of State.

I just discovered this cover on one of the CD's I gave to Michelle. Sweetheart, the disc of covers that includes Death Cab doing The Cure's Love Song. I have to say the highlight has to be this one, A.C.'s cover of A-ha's Take on Me. I've been listening to this all day since I got home from work. It's so addictive. I dig me some covers and this one is a killer.
