I also had an idea for a other-worldly dub day when people post the most exotic scaryy echo-ey dub chamber sounds they can.

London, once again, rules supreme with the unbelievable dance parties. One of the first electronic music outfits I ever listened to, who began my love affair with UK electronica in the form of Orb, Orbital, Eat Static etc., was the legendary 808 State. The founding members of the acid techno band - Gerald 'A Guy Called Gerald' Simpson and Graham Massey - have not played live together since 1989, but on Saturday October 6th, they will perform on the original analogue hard... Ok, this just won't do. Only one post on the great 808 State & these guys deserve better. 808 State became well known through the whole Manchester rave scene putting out electronic based dance music starting in '88. "Gorgeous" is there '93 effort which, as usual, showcases collaborations with other English artists(mostly). On this cd there is one song each with Ian McCulloch("Moses"), New Order("Contrique"), Paul Weller ("10x10" I'll post this in the comments) & UB40 . ... MORE
