I have lost in the world of west coast indie hip hop, its a fun journey and i have found lots for you to hear i am waiting for the site to catch up with linux and hopefully i will bring this relationship back full swing

Artist: Album: Track:

Were talking about M.C's here,as i delve in deeper in the world of underground hip hop , i have start to come up with theory, they two types of M.C's or at least as far as i am concerned the poet and the lyricist, in this one i will cover the poet.

The poet, is allowed to break the rules, they make you feel rather than think. When you hear the song you listen and find you self in place that is only familiar to and the artist. Each song has an over barring message yet there words will only dance around it, leaving the door open yet very narrow. You follow every word but only remember a few key quotes that tie up the song for you.

The question i would like to pose here is how do you hear you music ?

I think I more so feel my music. I can listen to almost anything but unless it makes me feel something I can't rock with it like that. In my opinion that's the biggest void in Hip hop muisic these days, there's no real emotion. A lot of the artist don't make you feel anything. Everybody raps like they're to cool to show any type of emotion. I consider myself just an artist, I really don't know what I am artistically. I am at times poetic and at others I'm on some MC ish. Check out the album "View of a loser from on top of the world" and tell me what you would consider me, seriously, not just looking to get you to hear my album. It's streaming for free @ www.mp3.com/gif or www.cdbabdy.com/cd/dagif

Artist: Album: Greatest story never told Track:

Saigon just grows on you its hard to explain but ih been listing to this album for about a year and its seems to get better, his style is straight New York. Its raw and unapologetic, yet the album speaks truth, and carries its self well . it reminds me of the first time i heard "Brenda had baby" by Tupac. i remember thinking how fuck up the world was and yet how true it all was and Saigon gives you a glimpse into his world in a honest raw approach to his tough life. His beats a style keep the album together and his words keep you listing
