WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Designed for Festivals?

Posted over 2 years ago
I was at T in the Park on Sunday. First time at a festival and although I didn't manage to get weekend tickets and do the whole "camping in the mud" thing, it was still an excellent day.I saw various bands throughout the day, but the main stand out was Kasabian. If ever there was a band created to perform at festivals it was these guys. They know how to get a crowd going. Even if you only knew one of their songs you could still bounce along chanting the anthemic choruses.http://www.bbc.co.uk/tinthepark/media/4452770That link there shows exactly why they were headlining the 2nd stage. They easily could have headlined the main stage although that task went to Snow Patrol. Any doubts I had about picking these guys over going to see Queens of the Stone Age (who were on in one of the tents) were gone as soon as Empire kicked in. Goosebumps. To quote the crowd afterwards:"Who the f***, who the f***, who the f*** are Snow Patrol?!"
