I was at T in the Park on Sunday. First time at a festival and although I didn't manage to get weekend tickets and do the whole "camping in the mud" thing, it was still an excellent day.
I saw various bands throughout the day, but the main stand out was Kasabian. If ever there was a band created to perform at festivals it was these guys. They know how to get a crowd going. Even if you only knew one of their songs you could still bounce along chanting the anthemic choruses.

That link there shows exactly why they were headlining the 2nd stage. They easily could have headlined the main stage although that task went to Snow Patrol. Any doubts I had about picking these guys over going to see Queens of the Stone Age (who were on in one of the tents) were gone as soon as Empire kicked in. Goosebumps.
To quote the crowd afterwards:
"Who the f, who the f, who the f* are Snow Patrol?!"
Saw Biffy tonight at The Barrowlands. They were superb! Second time seeing them, really good live. They were playing as part of a tour, Kerrang i think. Saw two other bands The Audition and The Bronx. Only heard a bit of The Auditon, nothing memorable. Saw The Bronx's full set, not my kind of music but they put on a great show! The singer was getting right into the crowd and jumping about with everyone, Fantastic!

Hey Munki!! Yeah I cant wait to see Bloc Party but its Biffy that sealed the deal!!! My best friend lives over in Vienna so ill be seeing him too so its all good!! I mustve seen Biffy around 10 times now but still every time is like the first time all over again!!! They just get better and better live!!! All The Best Kevin
