london calling is such an incredible album. i bought it when it first came out, and every time i hear it, i'm amazed at their focus and musicality. so inspiring.

point taken; it really is new york. hard to not love the first album; probably still my favorite, and i don't hate rope either. my fave rock band pretty much.
