I'll be on a plane pretty much all day tomorrow so I won't be able to post on Funky Friday, therefore I figured I'd post a song right now that kinda sits on the fence between Hip Hop Thursday and Funky Friday...

I've been wanted to put something up by Little Brother for a while, because next to the Roots & Talib Kweli they are my basically my #1C Hip Hop act. This song, Flash and Flare is off their mixtape album, Chitlin Circuit 1.5, which although it's not at the level of their debut The Listening nor their 2nd LP The Minstrel Show, it's still a great CD, and well worth the price. Though it will be, for the most part, without producer extraordinaire 9th Wonder, their next album Get Back is wrapping up final production and is due out soon... be on the look out for it!
