Another rainy day.... who's up for a 2-mile walk in sandals?

Ugh. Not a great way to kick off a Friday. I had to bring my truck in for 4 new tires and an alignment this morning, and I was proud of myself for doing my homework and finding a Sullivan Tire that was offering a 3 for 1 deal on Goodyears and it was only about 2 miles away from my work... I called them up Wednesday and scheduled an appt. for today... they said that they had a shuttle that could take me to work, I thought, great! If I need it, I'll take it, but I figured that the last 3 weeks or so have been amazing weather here, and if I felt like it I could take a brisk stroll back to my place of employment. Well, apparently the "shuttle guy" is not an early riser and he wasn't going to be in until "about 8:30." So after receiving my bill for $571, I get this doozy. My part in the story is that I am wearing sandals today because after a certain date in the year, it is my footwear of choice. Bad move today dipshit. It's 43 degrees out and raining, about as miserable as possible. Anyway, one of the first songs that came on my iTunes this AM was "Strangulation" by one of my personal fav-O-rite bands, My Morning Jacket and I couldn't help but think it was an appropriate tune, if not just for the name of it... thought I'd share...I promise, happier songs are on the horizon!
