The Procussions are now a 2 man group! Yes! The Procussions are sending this notice to all theirfans/friends/family to let them know we are going through some changes. Good changes no doubt, but definite changes. The Procussions are a group that focuses on making music out of love for the purpose of spreading it. We have never been about watering down our music, lyrics, or personality for the sake of "the dollar". During these last 9 years we have been together we have come up against a great deal of opposition, from all angles. Be it financial, physical, spiritual, environmental, etc. we have had to break through solely with our passion for this music we do. This game we are in is hard! I mean it can break people hard, bankrupt people hard, blah blah blah hard, ya know? Without going into all the details, just trust us, it’s tough. With that being said, if you don’t have a true devoted love for what you do, it’s impossible to break through those times. When the passion dies, the music dies. We have come to a point in our career where we had to "ante up" and check our love and passion for this next level we have approached. In doing so, we came to the realization that not all three of us were on the same page. Res, as most of you know, is not only an M.C. but he doubles as a graphic designer, something which has tugged at his commitment to the group for the last couple years. Knowing the amount of heart it is going to take, at this next level, Res has sought himself through and has come to the realization that his true passion is for his graphic design. This took a lot of courage and honesty both of which we try very hard to focus on as a group. A man cannot serve two gods, he will love one and hate the other. Res has decided to follow his graphic designer dreams and leave The Procussions. NO DRAMA! Just a guy living by his heart following a dream and what is more beautiful then that? We are all still brothers, we all pretty much still live together and we will all most likely work together in some way, just not as The Procussions. Cool? Cool! Now, let’s get to work! The "NEW" Procussions are Stro and Mr.J.Medeiros. We have already started to tour as such and the show has not suffered, to be honest, it’s gotten better. More room on stage, more time for instruments, and more food back stage! Serious though, The Procussions started as a 6man group in 1998 and have gone through many changes to be here today. What you have before you are two very committed musicians bent on trying to change the world and industry with the power of love in music. Aren't we just martyrs..! HA, but yo!, get ready! With the new line up comes a new sound, and for all The Procussions fans, you should know this, we are NOT going to stick to a formula and give you the same album twice! Hope you can hang with the change, it could get strange, but as long as it bangs (something that rhymes with bangs).
