   I've heard of Pele (an indie rock band that sounds a little like Pela - maybe they changed their name?).  Also there's Pale (which I've heard nothing from them) and of course the non-musical group PETA.

   From this clip, sounds like they could be decent.

   Pela is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY.  They have 1 full length album called "Anytown Grafitti" (Great Society 2007) and 1 EP "All in Time" (Brassland 2005).  They are a fantastic band and their live shows are incredible.  They are suppose to be releasing a brand new album in late summer/ early fall.  I am a huge fan of the band and follow them closely.   Check out some youtube video SEARCH:  Pela KEXP.  Expect big things from these guys in the next year.
