Not sure how many of you are actively watching Flight of the Conchords on HBO, but this past weekend's episode featured a fantastic little French pop tune titled "Foux Da Fa Fa."
Check it out:

You can find most of the episodes (split up into sections) as well as most of the most of the mini-music segments on YouTube.

This show is easily my favorite of the summer, as each episode features at least two songs of varying genres that go hand-in-hand with the episodes' storylines.
For more info on this superbly funny Kiwi duo, check out their official website.

I'd call it more a '60s French tropicalia ye-ye kind of thing. (Check the fashion, especially on the gals.) But yeah. Funny stuff.

Great satire of those montages of wholesome romantic fun set to a song, that films sometimes have. Now that that show has suddenly re-entered my radar, I'll have to take the plunge and risk becoming addicted to it.

Yeah, that looks great. You said Kiwis - so I guess they are from New Zealand, aren't they? I heard hardly a french sentence without any error in it. I think, I have to look out for this series.

I quite skillfully got my local pub to play this last night.. If anybody else can acheeve that without getting beats by the rest of the bar then you have my respect :P
What's really sad is the way I can lip sink this perfectly :D It complements my highscool french skills.
