In the interest of keepin' it real simple since the weekend just began for me and to help everyone slide into the weekend in a groove, here's a fantabulous old school video for the title track off the new album from Ms. Sharon Jones and her lovely band, The Dap-Kings. Woot!Be seeing you!

    Cody B says CERTIFIED FUNKY As if you needed me to say that. All hail the new queen of the super heavy funk. Although she does slow things down on a couple this record. I'm still coming to grips with it.

    soulrocket says her most soulful album yet, i dig some of the slow numbers. retro bands usually have it hard to hit on lists but she may be the exception. i hope she goes disco on the next release, that would be awesome.
