I really enjoy getting to hear some of my favorite Aphex Twin songs with an orchestral twist. I think that the Alarm Will Sound folks did a great job pulling off something that, in its original form, many people would find unlistenable (just ask some of my friends and family). The only downside to this album that I can see is that they put in a few songs that either didn't need their orchestration or were a waste of it. A rendition of "Avil 14" on a real panio was nice, but its pretty close to the original... so not much added there. Also, songs like "Gwely Mernans" and "Prep Gawrlek 3B" were a bit of a waste of their time... there's not much to these songs anyway. I do however, really enjoy their covers of "Mt. Saint Michel", "4", and "Cock/Ver 10" and would love to hear more songs like these. Overall, defintely worth the time if you're a fan of either Aphex Twin, orchestrial music, or both.
