Madlib must be a very busy man. Recently he dropped a full bonus disc of remixes into the already brimming release of CHAMPION SOUND, the magical double album by the dynamic duo Jaylib that is due on Stones Throw June 19th. Meanwhile he has been working on Volume 3 of the Beat Konducta series which will be released only on vinyl sometime in early July.

That album drops on July 17th. AND as if that wasn't achieving enough, he is produced an instrumental to be combined with the sultry jazz-influenced vocals of Norah Jones that will appear on Talib Kweli's upcoming album, Ear Drum. The song is called "Soon The New Day" and the album will be available in July.

I'm right know just getting known to Madlib and his many aliases. He has been really busy as it seems. Neither my beloved DJ Shadow nor any other producer, I appreciate, has such a list of releases. Enough material to revise. I'm especially curious for his Bluenote-"Mashup" 'Shades of Blue' as I'm also into jazz. Nice post.
