The lovely debut album from She & Him (Zooey Deschanel + Matthew Ward) will be released in the UK on July 14th. Volume 1 is brought to you by a sub-label of Domino Records called Double Six. The first single, "This Is Not A Test" will be released by Double Six as well, on July 7th.

Nice sequel to your actress-singer series, Molli. She and Him are starting to grow on me though I'm still nonplussed as to what to think of Miss Deschanel's voice. It doesn't click with me. -- It must be something to do with her fringe :p
it's funny, i was so resistant to this act. then i saw a picture and was like, "Wait - that's Trillium!" and all of a sudden i wanted to hear She & Him. from what i've heard so far, i like them. much more than Scar Jo, but not nearly as much as Milla...

Well, as this young lady bares an uncanny resemblance to a a love I once held in the distant past ... a girl that I completely uprooted my life for and traipsed half way across the country ... I will be tempted to embrace anything that falls from her mouth.
Oh ... the nostalgia ... of foolish young love.
So that I like the little country ditty, should come as no surprise, but I believe I will need to guard my heart on this one. She is quite lovely, and that I even mention that fact has me worried, as I rarely consider that at all in my musical appraisals.

PS: Who's Trillium?
Trillium is the name of Zooey's character in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy movie...
that being my favorite book in the world ever, she won me over in the movie.
