There's been rumours circulating like drunk aunts, but Mixmag confirmed it - Burial will curate the next DJ Kicks album. It's scheduled for release on !K7 June 23rd and that's all we know thus far. But I bet it'll be incredible!
Previous installments of the compilation series were been mixed by a number of great musicians, such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Four Tet, Hot Chip, Booka Shade, Nightmares On Wax, Thievery Corporation, Carl Craig and more. The Hot Chip album won the Plug Indie Award last year for Best DJ Album Of The Year.

Aw man, that is going to be good. I have never been disappointed with any of the DJkicks i bought.
