Scout Niblett's New EP, Tour, Meltdown

Emma Louise "Scout" Niblett should be gearing up for her performance at the upcoming Meltdown Fest (curated by Jarvis Cocker), or perhaps in the studio with Steve Albini, recording her upcoming full-length album. Instead, the Portland, Oregon based lady decided to take a detour and drop an egg. That's right, an egg. A Dinosaur Egg! You can listen to her new song, "dinosaur egg", over on her murdoch$pace page along with "just do it" and a cover of Cars' "just what i needed". The 3 songs comprise her new EP which Too Pure Records will send out on its own starting May 21st. In the meantime, those within a few hours of GMT can catch Niblett in the midst of her tour leading up to Meltdown in London on June 20th, where she opens for Iggy and the Stooges! Dang that tour looks like too much fun!
