M.I.A. Baby Due In February, Interview In SPIN Mag

Holy shizznit, M.I.A. is havin a baby! I'd heard the rumours months ago, but forgot all about it coz I thought they were just rumours. But, apparently she's talkin about it now. Can you imagine how incredibly sweet it would be to have Maya as yer mum? A homegrown revolutionary with a uber-famous goddess for a mum?! I'm almost jealous!

Anyway, I found out from AtariCoolKids who seems to have heard it from Spin Magazine. (there's so much killer content in MMN, I'm seriously hooked!)

Just last night I was totally dancin in my seat on the city bus coz somebody was playing a mix of "Paper Planes" remixes off their phone. I was thinking "I love this song" at the same time that I was marveling over how many times it's been remixed. I wonder which has been remixed more times, "Paper Planes" or Weezy's "A Milli"?

I was also wondering - did The Clash get paid for that sample or do they get any props at all for it?
