Fake Blood, Haunted House Music, Cheap Thrills + Sinister Basslines: It's Halloween!

Tis the season for Fake Blood, vampire raves and haunted house music!

The dead get another chance to dance with the living and everyone is encouraged to explore alternate identities. Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos perfectly provide the extra drama we actually need in our lives!

Now when I think about Haunted House music these days, I'm not reaching for Michael Jackson's Thriller album or an hour of creaky doors and chain rattling.

I think of Sang Foley, aka Fake Blood, a London-based musician who makes haunted-house tunes year-round. i.e. bangin' UK electronica with bludgeoning basslines. Perfect for a blood rave (did you see the Blood Rave at the beginning of the 1st Blade movie?) or perhaps a die-hard Day of the Dead Dance party.

Not much is known about Fake Blood (other than who he isn't), but the London-based Sang (which still means BLOOD no matter how you dice it!) has been slaying dancefloors all summer - from UK to Australia and now the US. He's probably best known for his remixes of very well-known bands UNKLE, Little Boots, The Kills, South Rakkas Crew, and others. But that will change as soon as his debut album is released on Count & Sinden's dance label, Cheap Thrills.
