Madonna Requests "Give It 2 Me" Remix From Sly & Robbie + Cherine Anderson - Listen Here

Cherine Anderson is swiftly becoming Jamaica's IT gal this year! She and Etana have been sharing the "new girl" limelight, but all eyes and ears will be stuck on Cherine soon. The lovely lady sings what she calls "dancehall soul" and has worked with Bootsy Collins, Ky-mani Marley, Fat Joe, Chuck Fenda plus many others. But it was her remix of Brtiney Spears' "Piece of Me" laid over Sly and Robbie's infallable drum and bass riddim that Madonna couldn't get enough of. I was a bit horrified by the tune myself, but like a master-masterer once said, "You can't polish a turd," i.e. you can't make a hit out of shit. Madonna on the other hand is obviously a Spears fan and has since asked the Riddim Twins and Cherine Anderson to work some magic on her hit, "Give It 2 Me."
