OOooh I'm so excited about this weekend! Not only will I be front and center at the Dizzee Rascal show in SF tonight, but also at the Caribbean Summer Festival in Long Beach on Sunday. For a dancehall fan on the west coast, this is BIG!
The show tonight should be interesting - you may recall Dizzee's promise to party every night that his tune "Dance Wiv Me" (produced by and featuring Calvin Harris) stays at #1 in the UK charts. (If not, check here.) Well, the tune is currently enjoying its third week at the top! Dizzee began his party regimen on day 1, so he should be well pissed by now. He should be landing in SF anytime now, a truly alcoholic city with plenty opportunity to get sloshed. It should be a very interesting show indeed. I'll let ya know how it goes!
