Venetian Snares & Otto Von Schirach Announce US Live Dates In Fall

Posted 11 months ago

Breakcore badman Venetian Snares just announced he'll be in the States this Winter and late Fall for a string of live shows. The solo producer will be supporting his new album of hazzardous beauty, DETRIMENTALIST! Venetian Snares will be joined by another longtime glitch meistro - Otto Von Schirach, plus Cyrusrex and NAHA. The Detrimental Disco Wibble Tour 2008 will start on the East Coast in September, explore the Midwest in October/November, then warm up in Otto's homebase of Miami before heading into the sunset - to SF via Austin in December. Only a few dates are known at the moment, but I can already hear fans in SF going wild...

A mellow jazz-based composition:

This track is so hardcore, we aren't allowed to air the brutal live footage so we had to use stand-ins:

The first two tracks are great. Didn't hear those on his myspace page, but I didn't take the time to listen to all of the tracks there.

I recently listened to von Schirachs Maxipad Detention. His mixture of cow mooing with porn groaning made me laugh a lot. On the other side I didn't listen to it so often - somehing hindered me from doing so. But seeing these outrageous people life could be potentially a lot of fun - or the extreme opposite. You never know.

Thanks for the link to Venetian Snares.

i tried to find videos that were different than what's on his myspace page so people could see how wide of a range his music covers.  so, you might not find these songs on the myspace, but hopefully you'll hear something you like in all the different takes...
