WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

Wiley Added To Reading/Leeds Festival With Metallica, RATM, QOTSA +More

Posted about 1 year ago

While we're on the subject of grime (I could spend my whole day on the subject of grime), Wiley also has an exciting live performance on the horizon. The godfather of grime tunes was just added to the Festival Republic Stages at Reading and Leeds festivals in England. Dizzee Rascal is also scheduled to play the double stage event during the Bank Holiday weekend. According to Mixmag.net:

Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Late Of The Pier (left), Wiley, The Teenagers, Friendly Fires and Black Kids will all be playing over the course of the weekend.

They'll be joined by Elliot Minor, The Audition, All Time Low, The Kills, Glasvegas, Los Campesinos, The Rascals, You And Me At 6, Twisted Wheel, Teenagers In Tokyo, Fight Like Apes, Lovvers and many more we can't be arsed to type up as we've never heard of them.

Not to mention the headlining performances from Metallica, Rage Against The Machine and the Killers plus sets by Queens of the Stone Age, Bloc Party, Raconteurs and a ZILLION MORE! Jump over to the Reading Festival Lineup Flyer for the full deets. (Note that it's the same lineup taking place in 2 different locations over the course of 1 weekend, Bank Holiday.)
