1 more Glasto post before diving into newer news... The 25 year old fan who was abused by Amy Winehouse spoke to BBC about the incident. James Gostelow is in good spirits about the ordeal, stating:
At the end of the day it is all part of being at the front and being pushed by thousands of people. It is all part of the Glastonbury experience.
He also commented, "Not everyone can say they have been hit by Amy Winehouse." What a sport! BBC News interviewed Gostelow and included footage from his mobile phone of Amy up close and personal in the moments leading up to the elbowing and punching. Watch the BBC News video:
Judging by those incredibly skinny arms, I doubt Amy punches very hard. But I am pretty darn impressed with her ability to sing through the whole thing without missing a beat!

She was singing? Sounded more like sloppy, about to pass out, mumbly slurring to me.
So it sounds as if he hadn't provoked her. It also looked as if the two men standing next to her on stage, following her around and pulling her away from her victim, had been hired to handle her because whoever was in charge knew before her show that she was going to be out of control.
the men following her around are security - for both her and the audience in this case. i watched the video plenty times; she sounded attrocious but she was singing all through the fiasco.
i rad somewhere )NME, i think) he grabbed her boob so that was why she punched him...is that not the case?
That makes sense.
You mean she still has boobs? She's so damn skinny a good breeze would knock her over. I don't know if it was singing, but at least it was being done in the right places. She also seemed to get more coherent as the set went on. Sobering up, perhaps?
as far as i have read, on BBC and from the guy who got hit etc., someone threw a hat that hit her beehive. she probably couldn't tell what hit her or who threw it and just freaked out. but then again, i wouldn't put it past some sleazoid to cop a feel, so if that's the case - GOOD FOR HER!! seriously, if someone tried to feel me up in the middle of a performance, i would lash out as hard as i could too. that's just nasty.
