Cyndi Lauper announced in May that she's working on a new album of dance hits with top-notch producers Basement Jaxx, Axwell, Kleerup, Scumfrog, Richard Morel and Dragonette. The album, titled Bring Ya To The Brink, is scheduled for release on September 15th according to a report in Mixmag this week.
I haven't seen a tracklist for the upcoming LP yet, but there is a new video for "Into The Nightlife" which is off Bring Ya To The Brink:

I can't wait to hear the Kleerup collaborations! I LOVE what the producer did with Lykke Li's tune "Until We Bleed".

Cyndi can also "bring ya to the brink" when you work with her. she's amazingly talented, but one tough girl!

Since i toured with both Cyndi and the B-52's for years, i went to the Greek here in LA to see them both last night on the True Colors tour. i went mostly for the hang and to see friends, but i gotta tell ya......the show was pretty great. One of Cyn's new songs that i don't know by name but was kind of disco oriented was pretty slammin', and i can play air guitar to the B's for days.
