Jimmy Cliff & Usher On Adult Swim This Week

Every week, Adult Swim rotates the streaming cartoons on their video page. Vintage episodes are mixed in with the latest cartoon hits including Metalocalypse, Boondocks, Space Ghost Coast To Coast, The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and more. I'm pretty much addicted to this site, to the point of tuning in every Thursday night to see what's new (that's when the episodes switch). As a result, I've alerted y'all to Cee-Lo on The Brak Show (the rap contest), Mike Patton on Metalocalypse (as Rikki Kix), Usher on the Boondocks and probably a few others. So, when I tuned in last night and saw Jimmy Cliff smiling from the studio of Space Ghost Coast To Coast, I knew I had to report it here. It's an older show - Jimmy mentions he's recording his new album, Higher And Higher which was released in 1998 - but it's hard to resist Jimmy's cool, relaxed personality. Jimmy defines what "irie" means while looking pretty irie himself. Thanx for the Jimmy Cliff (and I don't mean spliff ! ) Me and Jimmy go back a long way, what I mean is about 25 years agho I saw him in concert, on his way to perform on stage, he dropped his towel, I knew this was my opportunity to make contact, I scrambled to my feet and beat down any one else who may have had the same idea, scooping up the towel, I called Jimmy's name, he turned, smiled seeing the towel in my hand. I was dumbstruck, I wanted to say how I was looking forward to the concert but there I suppose was no need. Great smile. Great man! I think my favourite cartoon episodes are the Simpsons ones- theres been Keith Richard, Backstreet Boys and Michael Jackson

    mollifire says consciouslyinsane - why can you not see it? Are you in the UK? when i posted this, i assumed anyone could watch the toons directly from the Adult Swim site. But if not, AS have a page on dailymotion where they stream toons to the UK only. But not sure how to see them in other countries. Do let me know where you're located, so I know who can't see the AS videos. Thanks!
