When Edinburgh, Scotland has a music festival, it doesn't last a mere weekend. It lasts nearly a full month! From August 1st to the 27th, The Edge Festival will rock the capital with 50 live performances from the likes of Kate Nash, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Dizzee Rascal, Ratatat, Pendulum, Digitalism, Deadmau5 and more!   1. Sturgell says I've heard about the Scots and how they go all out. There's this fest and other one called .. um ,I want to say Rush for some reason. That festival isn't music though, it's arts and craft, but equally massive.

  2. laura27 says Sturg, the other festival is called the Edinburgh Fringe. It lasts a few weeks and is mainly performing arts but recently it's been dominated by comedy stand-up shows. The whole city goes crazy and is over run by an insane amount of people. I was there last year and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Sort of like glastonbury but in a city lol. And it helps that edinburgh is one of the most beautiful, picturesque cities in the uk. Not to mention the most haunted, supposedly. hehe.
