I find it impossible to keep up with the volume of stellar releases this year. It's as if all my favorite and future-favorite artists got mad inspired over the winter of '07 and now the tunes flow like a mighty river. And, while high and mighty record companies fall from CD-dependency, independent labels continue to prosper with limited edition vinyl releases and digital download options.
