As you may know, Beck has been working on a new album with Danger Mouse at the controls. It's rumored to be out this summer and have Cat Power on one track. The album still lacks a title, but you can get your first taste of it today on Beck's myspace page where he's streaming the track "Chemtrails". The song made its debut on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio show over the weekend and Beck is streaming it on his website as well. According to a press release I received today:

While not a single, "Chemtrails" is a genre-bending tour de force that showcases Beck and producer Danger Mouse's shared affection for late '60s psych-pop as Beck takes his songwriting and performing skills in yet another bold, unforeseen and as always captivating new direction.Don't let the wording fool ya though. While it may not be a single, it is reported to be part of the upcoming new album.
