WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Gorillaz Added To Liverpool Fest, New Album On The Way!

Posted about 1 year ago
Have you ever had a dream that you were surrounded by Gorillaz' music and everywhere you turned you saw 2D, Noodle, Murdoc and Russel? You will if you see the Gorillaz at this year's Creamfields in Liverpool! According to FACT Mag:
eye-popping 360-degree Gorillaz visuals will be delivered from 20 old school projectors accompany 4 DJs in Gorillaz Sound System gear that will be delivering the biggest roof raising tracks with a one-of-a-kind spectacular.
Awesome! (And it doesn't even matter that neither Jamie nor Damon will likely be on stage - but the cartoon characters will. MF Doom take note!) Creamfields celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year and the even takes place over bank holiday weekend, August 23-24 in Liverpool, England. The Gorillaz Sound System was just added to the Creamfields lineup, which already includes Cut Copy, Gossip, Soulwax, Freelance Hellraiser, Luciano (what?), Kasabian, Hercules & Love Affair, Erol Alkan and more! Fact also mentions that the men behind Gorillaz, Damon and Jamie, are putting out a new album later this year. It's inspired by "Monkey: Journey To The West" - the buddhist opera sung entirely in Mandarin that Damon worked on last year - so I bet it's going to be their most creative and masterful album ever! Totally can't wait to hear it.More info at Fact MagFull lineup and event details:http://www.cream.co.uk/

  1. Sam The Artist says one of my favorite things about gorillaz is that they have such wild fashion taste. you never see them wear the same thing twice! its adds that extra dimension to em.
