Jah Cure - New Video (Sticky) & New Music (Green Grass/Mission)

Jah Cure celebrated his release from prison last summer with a wave of conscious reggae releases, but not much has emerged since. I think it's been 8+ years since Cure made a video "on the outside" (I think "Reflection" inside The Tower). So fans will be delighted to find this brand new one for "Sticky." The name implies that the song is about the Sticky Icky Icky, i.e. weed/ganja, but the lyrics and video tell a sombre tale instead of an irie one: Cure must be visiting the studio occasionally because in the year since True Reflections came out, I've heard 4 songs trickle onto the web. "Freedom" and "My Life" leaked last year and are joined now by "Sticky" and "Green Grass." The latter song is new to me, except that Cure sings on a very familiar riddim. The underlying instrumental is called Mission Riddim, made famous and familiar by Mavado's version, "I'm On The Rock". Stephen and Damian Marley also recorded a song on the Mission Riddim, though no one seems to know the song's title.
